ABOUT

Driving change in organisations through critical and creative thinking.

Transform and Succeed.

I'm a passionate educationalist and ex-Googler, who has explored and shared educational practice for more than 40 years across Africa.

I see myself as an EduChangeMaker and EduDisruptor.

I assist organisations to effectively manage the ever-changing landscape through critical and creative thinking.

I originally trained as a Foundation Phase teacher.

I was a member of one of the first trained technology education teachers and was awarded my certificate by Madiba, President Nelson Mandela.

I have taught from Gr R to Gr 11.

Over the years I worked at three different universities part-time lecturing in Design and Technology and IT courses.

I have collaborated at schools I was teaching at, in designing and implementing various design and technology / STEM venues.

For my BEd Honours from the University of the Witwatersrand (2009) I explored "Development of critical thinking and collaborative learning using interactive response technology in the primary school classroom"

I have an MEd in educational technology from the University of Witwatersrand (2012), I explored "A Study Of The Use Of SMS Cell Phone Technology To Support Teaching And Learning Of Natural Science With Gr. 7 Learners"

I was awarded a PhD in Computer-Integrated Studies, the Department of Science, Mathematics and Technology Education, from the University of Pretoria, in September 2023, when I explored "The influence of Virtual Reality as an educational tool on teachers' pedagogy"

My services include motivational speaking, customised professional development workshops, and strategic planning consultation.
